    Georgie Upton has worked in consumer PR for 17 years. Apart from a two-year stint with Lexis, Georgie has been with Wild Card and Wild West since 2002. Georgie now heads up the West Country office and is responsible for the overall strategic direction on all client accounts.

    Georgie started her PR career specialising in drinks and gained her WSET® International Higher Certificate in Wines and Spirits whilst working on accounts including Symington Family Estates, E&J Gallo and Marks & Spencer. Georgie then went on to work on campaigns for clients such as Diet Coke, Diageo, Morrisons, Unilever and TK Maxx. Across her years at Wild Card Georgie has worked with various businesses ranging from small start-ups, challenger brands and generic campaigns and awards – these include Charlie Bigham’s, Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall, Cheshire Cheese, Glenfiddich Food & Drink Awards, Jacksons of Piccadilly, Leiths School of Food & Wine and BBC Good Food Show.

    Since moving to Cornwall in 2009, she now operates across all sectors including a strong leisure and tourism base. Her expertise lies in elevating regional brands on a national level.
