Forestry Commission: The Gruffalo Spotter AR App

Ever wondered how could you could apply the Pokemon Go model to your business? Well, it seems that the Forestry Commission did. Last week it launched an Augmented Reality app which is blends the Pokemon Go model with the Gruffalo. Magic Light Pictures created the app for the organisation which launched at 25 sites around the country, encouraging people to enjoy their time outside and find characters from the book.

Like Pokemon Go with wings, this app has the added bonus of encouraging parents to engage with their children at specific locations – a strong call to action.

Nike: Time is Precious

We know that videos have 135% greater organic reach, with a further increase if they are work well without sound due to the ease of viewing for mobile users. Nike has capitalised on this with its latest project. it is a great example of a creative, less-is-more approach to the video format. Forget stunning visuals – the power of typography and an interesting voiceover can be just as impactful.

Connect Internet: Slow Internet Connection

You remember those massive crazes the Ice Bucket Challenge and the Harlem Shake? Well, Connect Internet has created the films as if the Lebanon has only just caught wind of these crazes due to slow internet speeds. The films use real people, unscripted and just using prompts. They feel genuine, look real and are really funny – everything that the craze embodied including a great brand message: no one likes slow internet.
